is the 11th anniversary of the 9/11 terror attacks on the united states. people across the country are holding memorial ceremonies for victims. terrorists flew hijacked planes into the twin towers of the world trade center in new york and the pentagon in the state of virginia. they killed nearly 3,000 people. a memorial ceremony is under way at the site of the world trade center.
